Maintenance Technician
JOB SUMMARY
We are searching for a reliable Maintenance Technician to oversee the general maintenance of a brand-new 120-unit complex, Nexus Point Apartments. The best candidate should demonstrate an organized, thorough approach to weekly job duties with strong communication skills. The position is full-time Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Repairing and unclogging toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, exterior drains, and garbage disposals.
- Installing and repairing wires, plugs, and switches
- Troubleshooting repairs and communicating with management to create a repair plan
- Interior painting as needed (walls, trim work, etc.)
- General maintenance handyman work - woodwork, door and trim repair, screen replacements, door lock changes, etc.
- Building maintenance as needed: vacuuming/sweeping floors in common areas, snow removal around the clubhouse, painting community areas, disposing of trash, tracking inventory to ensure that the building is stocked with adequate maintenance supplies, ensuring that fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms, and emergency exits remain in excellent working condition at all times.
- Common area maintenance: snow removal of common areas (parking lot and sidewalks), dog pot maintenance (stock bags, empty cans)
- Assist with Move In/Out Maintenance, including inspections, repairs, and painting, etc., as needed.
- After hours on call.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES
- Maintenance experience - minimum 3 years preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
- HVAC, CMRP, or equivalent certification will be advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds without assistance
- Dexterity and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Available to work on weekends, if required

Leasing Agent - Nexus Point
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Leasing Agent to present and lease properties to prospective lessors. The goal is to secure qualified tenants and maintain a high occupancy rate for our brand-new 120-unit apartment building, Nexus Point Apartments. The position is full-time and non-exempt. An employee’s regular schedule is Mon-Thu 9am-5pm and Friday, 9am-5pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Advertise available properties using a variety of media and promotional materials.
- Update marketing as it becomes rented.
- Process applications and confirm rental application data and personal references.
- Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and close deals
- Prepare lease documents
- Ensure move-in packets are prepped and required documents received before move-in
- Property Tours to present properties and provide amenities in a positive light.
- Stay knowledgeable of the property market status
- Property inspections as needed.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES
- APPFOLIO management software experience preferred
- Property management experience of 2+ years preferred
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks daily
- Superior written and verbal communication skills and negotiation skills
- Extremely computer literate with a knack for technology
- Results-oriented with the ability to balance all business considerations
- Persuasive with marketing and sales skills
- Working knowledge of Montana Landlord Tenant Laws
